1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

• "sze-look", "we", "us", "our" — sze-look Senior Living Residence, 53 Caine Road, Mid-Levels, Hong Kong.
• "Website" — the website operated by sze-look at this domain.
• "Services" — the Companion Circles programme, Cultural and Recreation Studio, and the Residence and Lifestyle Plan, as described on this website.
• "User", "you" — any person accessing this website or enquiring about, or using, our services.
• "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions, together with any service agreement signed upon joining the residence.
• "Content" — all text, images, documents, and other materials published on this website.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting this website or submitting an enquiry, you acknowledge that you have read these terms and agree to be bound by them. If you are acting on behalf of another person (for example, a family member), you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on their behalf.

Use of this website is intended for individuals aged 18 and over, or for adults acting on behalf of a family member who may wish to enquire about residency.

3. Service Description

sze-look offers a non-medical senior living residence at 53 Caine Road, Mid-Levels, Hong Kong. Our services are arranged around three plans — Companion Circles, the Cultural and Recreation Studio, and the Residence and Lifestyle Plan — full details of which are set out on our Solutions page.

Services are subject to availability and may be adjusted from time to time to reflect the needs and preferences of current residents. sze-look does not provide medical care, nursing, or clinical services.

The website is primarily available to residents of Hong Kong SAR; international family members are welcome to enquire on behalf of a prospective resident.

4. User Responsibilities

When using this website or our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information in any enquiry or registration form
• Use this website for lawful purposes only
• Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems
• Not submit false, misleading, or defamatory content through any form or communication
• Treat other residents and staff with courtesy and respect within the residence

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to: scraping or harvesting content from this website, impersonating another person, and submitting spam enquiries.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, and the overall design — is owned by or licensed to sze-look and is protected under Hong Kong copyright law.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view and print pages from this website for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.

6. Payment Terms

Service fees are quoted in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) and are payable monthly in advance as set out in the individual service agreement signed upon joining. Current pricing is listed on our Solutions page and may be subject to periodic review with reasonable advance notice.

Payment methods accepted include bank transfer and cheque. Full details are provided in your service agreement.

Refunds: Where a service agreement is terminated in accordance with clause 11, fees paid for the current month are generally non-refundable. We will consider requests for partial refunds on a case-by-case basis where circumstances warrant it.

7. Residence-Specific Terms

Residency at sze-look is governed by a separate Residence Agreement which will be provided and discussed before any commitment is made. That agreement covers room allocation, house guidelines, notice periods, and the scope of services included in the Residence and Lifestyle Plan.

Companion Circles and Cultural and Recreation Studio memberships are monthly arrangements. Either party may end a membership with 30 days' written notice.

sze-look reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to activities, meal arrangements, and common-area access for the comfort and safety of all residents.

8. Disclaimers

This website and its content are provided in good faith for general information purposes. While we take care to keep information accurate and current, we make no representation that content is error-free or complete at all times.

sze-look is a lifestyle and social residence, not a medical facility. Nothing on this website should be construed as medical, health, legal, or financial advice. Please consult an appropriate professional for personal advice in those areas.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Hong Kong law, sze-look's liability arising from or in connection with the use of this website or our services shall be limited to the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of income, loss of data, or reputational harm.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless sze-look and its staff from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of this website, or any information you provide that is false or misleading.

11. Termination

Either party may end a service arrangement with 30 days' written notice. sze-look may terminate access to the website or services with immediate effect if there is a serious breach of these terms or of the Residence Agreement.

Upon termination of a service arrangement, clauses 5 (Intellectual Property), 8 (Disclaimers), 9 (Limitation of Liability), 10 (Indemnification), and 12 (Dispute Resolution) shall continue to apply.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong SAR.

Before pursuing formal proceedings, we ask that you contact us at [email protected] so that we may seek an informal resolution. We will respond to complaints within 14 days.

13. General Provisions

• Entire agreement: These terms, together with any signed service agreement, form the complete agreement between the parties on this subject.
• Severability: If any clause is found to be unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue in full effect.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any term on one occasion does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it in future.
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights under any service agreement without our prior written consent. We may assign our obligations to a successor entity operating the residence.
• Notices: Formal notices should be sent by email to [email protected] or by post to 53 Caine Road, Mid-Levels, Hong Kong.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will endeavour to notify current residents and recent enquirers by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the website or services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
